The Project’s developer frst planned the historic Lake Union Steamplant as a condominium redevelopment. Through an active neighborhood planning and design process; the Project was redesigned and tailored for research laboratories and offices for the then growing business of Zymogenetics. As a Project Architect working with Daly & Associates, P.S. for the core and shell restoration, we successfully partnered with other design professionals who designed the interiors and with Lease Crutcher Lewis as the General Contractor to complete the renovation in 1993 – 1994.
